South Melbourne Life Saving Club

The City of Port Philip recently underwent works to upgrade the clubhouse building and public amenities block at the South Melbourne Life Saving Club. Ligman Rado and Marvik fittings feature throughout the external aspect of the recently redeveloped space, as well as KLIKSystems extrusion throughout the interior.

The iconic building recently underwent significant renovations, upgrading the facility with a new kiosk, a multipurpose room for community use and accessible public toilets. There was a particular emphasis on updating the landscaping around the building to improve the safety of the cycle path users adjacent to the building. Ligman fittings come standard with die-cast aluminium housing and are pre-treated before powder coating, ensuring the highest possible corrosion resistance. This process ensures that Ligman luminaires are ideal for any coastal application.
